Bring Health and Fitness to K-12 Classrooms

January 03, 20241 min read

📚 Academic Growth & Fitness 💪

The STEM and Fitness LLC is a program designed to bring health and fitness to K-12 classrooms where literacy and health are joined together to improve educational outcomes for every student. The Science of Reading is used to increase students' knowledge about various issues affecting their emotional growth as well as their capacity to absorb new information. It is well researched that exercise improves academic performance, and individual fitness programs also improve overall health. So we work on academic growth as well as fitness at the same time. The program is very popular in NYC and New Jersey schools. It is the foundation of our Four Rivers STEAM Charter School in Freehold, NJ. Opening in 2025.

We Want To Hear From You 🗣️

We invite parents from our serving districts in Freehold, Marlboro, Howell , Lakewood, and Manalapan to express their views about their child’s needs and how the school can meet them. What do you want to see happen at our school that you do not see in the district schools? What do you want to see our school stand for? What are the values you want your child to develop so that he or she is successful? How can we address the special needs of your child?
